about the project

"Memento mori" is a latin phrase that roughly translates to "Remember, you will die". This deck of playing cards features characters and images that signify mortality. Characters were designed and illustrated in Adobe Illustrator. This deck was published in Creative Quarterly 59 and was chosen as a finalist for Best of Show.
